Asunción, Paraguay, 30 de marzo de 2014.- El Congreso de AIPS, que se celebrará en Bakú, capital de Azerbaiyán, del 27 de abril al 1 de mayo y en el que se conmemorarán los 90 años de vida de la matriz mundial del periodismo deportivo asociado, contará con la presencia de delegados de 14 países de América, al margen de los tres representantes que el continente tiene en el comité ejecutivo de AIPS.
Las naciones que han inscripto sus delegados para Bakú 2014 son: Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Canadá, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Estados Unidos, México, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Surinam, Uruguay y Venezuela.
Es destacable el retorno de Venezuela (país de Abelardo Raidi, 1914-2002, mentor y primer presidente de FEPEDA, nombre que antecedió al de AIPS América), a los congresos de AIPS luego de mucho tiempo.
En Bakú se tiene prevista, el 28 de abril, una reunión continental de los 14 delegados con el presidente de AIPS América, Gabriel Cazenave y los demás miembros del comité ejecutivo de AIPS que pertenecen a América, Ernesto Ortiz (Uruguay) y Vicente Dattolli (Brasil).
También asistirá al encuentro, Leandro Shara (Chile), quien expondrá ante el congreso su maravilloso y revolucionario sistema para la programación de eventos deportivos.

Fourteen countries of America in Baku for the Congress of the 90th anniversary of AIPS.
Asuncion, Paraguay, March 30, 2014.- The Congress of AIPS, to be held in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, from 27 April to 1 May and in which will be commemorate the 90th birthday of the world matrix of the associated sports journalism, will count with the presence of delegates from 14 countries of America, aside from the three representatives that the continent has on the executive committee of AIPS.
The nations that have registered their delegates for Baku 2014 are: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, United States, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Noteworthy is the return of Venezuela, country of Abelardo Raidi (1914-2002) mentor and first president of FEPEDA (nowadays named AIPS America), to the AIPS congresses after a long time.
