Baku, Azerbaiyán, 30 de abril de 2014.- AIPS (Asociación Internacional de la Prensa Deportiva), fundada el 3 de julio de 1924 en París, unos días antes del comienzo de los Juegos Olímpicos en la capital francesa, hará festejos durante el presente año de su 90° aniversario, en los distintos continentes.

Gianni Merlo, presidente de AIPS, informó en la reunión del comité ejecutivo de la entidad, que se destinarán fondos especiales para que las secciones continentales AIPS América, Africa, Asia y Europa, realicen actos especiales para conmemorar dicha fecha.

En el caso de América, se analizan las opciones para escoger la fecha y el lugar en que se desarrollará dicha conmemoración.

America will celebrate the 90th anniversary of AIPS in a special ceremony

Baku, Azerbaijan, April 30, 2014.- AIPS (International Sports Press Association), founded on July 3, 1924 in Paris, a few days before the start of the Olympics in the French capital, will make celebrations during the present year of its 90th anniversary, on the different continents.

Gianni Merlo, President of AIPS, reported at the meeting of the executive committee of the organization, that will be allocated  special funds so that the continental sections AIPS America, Africa, Asia and Europe, may performing special events to commemorate that date.

In the case of America, are analyzed the options to choose the time and place where this commemoration will take place.
