Lausana, 16 de setiembre de 2015.- El Comité de Prensa de Qatar ha confirmado las fechas para el Congreso 2016 de AIPS, en Doha, el cual tendrá lugar del 6 al 12 de febrero del año próximo.
Doha volverá a ser sede de un Congreso de AIPS, exactamente diez años después. / Doha will host a Congress of AIPS, exactly ten years after
HE Sheikh Faisal bin Ahmed Bin Ali Al Thani, presidente del Sports Press Committee of Qatar, hizo el anuncio de las fechas luego de consultar con el presidente de AIPS, Gianni Merlo, resaltando el hecho de que el desarrollo del Congreso coincidirá con una de las más importantes fiestas nacionales del país árabe.
De esta forma, quienes acudan al 79° Congreso de AIPS tendrán la ocasión de participar, el 9 de febrero, del Día Nacional del Deporte de Qatar.
Esta será la segunda oportunidad en que la capital qatarí alojará un Congreso de AIPS. La ocasión anterior fue en 2006.

Dates confirmed for the 2016 AIPS congress in Doha
LAUSANNE, September 16, 2015.- The Sports Press Committee of Qatar has confirmed the dates for the 2016 AIPS Congress in Doha, which will be held between February 6 –12, 2016.
HE Sheikh Faisal bin Ahmed Bin Ali Al Thani, president of the Sports Press Committee of Qatar, announced the dates after consultation with AIPS president Gianni Merlo, highlighting that the Congress will aptly coincide with one of Qatar’s most important national days. Delegates attending the 79th AIPS congress will therefore have the opportunity to take part in the National Sports Day of Qatar on February 9th.
This will be the second time the fast-rising sports capital is hosting the AIPS Congress after the successful 2006 edition.
