Asunción, Paraguay, 14 de abril de 2016.- El informe que brindó la secretaría general de AIPS durante la reunión del comité ejecutivo en Doha, sede del reciente 79° Congreso de la entidad, refleja que América es el continente más rezagado en cantidad de tarjetas 2016/2017 impresas.

Al 7 de febrero de 2016, las cifras eran: Europa 2.070, Asia 742, África 268 y América 243.
Durante el Congreso, los delegados de los nueve países americanos presentes abonaron y confirmaron un importante número de credenciales, con lo que la cifra que corresponde a América se incrementó considerablemente.
No obstante, la cantidad es un muy baja y necesita ser aumentada para alcanzar la meta de superar dentro de este año las 1.000 tarjetas.

America needs to increase number of credentials AIPS 2014/2015
Asuncion, Paraguay, April 14, 2016.- The report provided by the general secretariat for the AIPS Executive Committee meeting in Doha, venue of the recent 79th Congress of the entity, reflects that America is the most laggard continent in amount of printed cards 2016/2017.
At the February 7, 2016, the figures were: 2,070 Europe; Asia 742; Africa 268 and America 243.
During the Congress, the delegates from the twelve american countries present, paid and confirmed an important number of credentials, so that the figure for America was considerably increased.
However, the amount is very low and needs to be increased to achieve the objective of overcoming in this year the amount of 1,000 cards.
