Berlin (dpa) – Borussia Dortmund have agreed to sell midfielder Moritz Leitner to Italian side Lazio.
The Bundesliga club said Friday 23-year-old Leitner was moving to the Rome club with immediate effect. No transfer fee was given but the sum is believed to be around 2 million euros (2.23 million dollars).
Leitner played 42 Bundesliga and seven Champions League games for Dortmund between July 2011 and June 2013. He was loaned out to VfB Stuttgart for two years and returned to Dortmund last season to play
13 matches.
