Baku, Azerbaiyan, 26 de abril de 2014.– El año próximo, el Congreso de AIPS se celebrará en un país de América, luego de una década y media. El honor lo tendrá Uruguay, que en abril reunirá en Montevideo los congresos de la matriz mundial y también de su brazo continental, AIPS América.

La última vez que se había realizado un congreso de AIPS en América fue en el año 2004, en la ciudad de Nueva York.

La historia cuenta que los congresos de AIPS que se hicieron en suelo americano fueron los siguientes:

1976: México DF – México

1981: Sao Paulo – Brasil

1990: Toronto – Canadá

1998: Montevideo – Uruguay

2000: Fortaleza – Brasil

2001: Toronto – Canadá

2004: Nueva York – USA

AIPS Congress will return to America in 2015, after fifteen years

Baku, Azerbaijan, April 26, 2014.- The next year, the Congress of AIPS  will be held in a country of America, after a decade and a half. The honor will have it Uruguay, that in April will gather at Montevideo, the congresses of the global matrix and its continental arm AIPS America.

The last time that has had made an AIPS Congress in America was in 2004, in the city of New York.

History tells that the congresses of AIPS that were made on american soil were the following:
