TIJUANA, México, 11 de noviembre de 2013.- El Comité Olímpico Mexicano (COM) y la Comisión Nacional de Cultura Física y Deporte (CONADE) están trabajando en unidad y actualmente México está viviendo un gran momento en el deporte.

Carlos Padilla Becerra, presidente del COM, estuvo acompañado por Jesús Mena Campos, titular de la CONADE en la ceremonia oficial de cambio de gobernador de Baja California y se congratularon de la ratificación en el nuevo gobierno de Saúl Castro Verdugo n la dirigencia del deporte de Baja California y confiaron que México tendrá su mejor actuación en los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe Veracruz 2014.
El pasado 1 y 2 de noviembre Baja California inició una nueva etapa gubernamental y en esas fechas se dio la oportunidad histórica para que el presidente del Círculo de Cronistas Deportivos de Tijuana (CCDT), Alberto Rico Santacruz y el secretario de relaciones internacionales de la Federación Mexicana de Cronistas Deportivos (FEMECRODE), Raúl García, entrevistaran al presidente de la Federación Internacional de Vóleibol (FIVB), Ary Graça, al titular del COM, Carlos Padilla Becerra y al director de la Comisión Nacional del Deporte (CONADE), Jesús Mena.
Padilla destacó la labor deportiva que se realiza en Baja California y dijo que está a punto de concretarse que el Centro de Alto Rendimiento de Tijuana sea la sede del Festival Olímpico Panamericano 2014.
Sobre los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe dijo que se va cumpliendo la estrategia de organización y logística, y que México apunta a su mejor actuación en toda la historia de esta gran competencia regional, de la que será anfitrión, del 14 al 30 de noviembre de 2014, en la ciudad de Veracruz.
Carlos Padilla estableció que el 9 de diciembre en la capital del país podría recibir a los directivos de FEMECRODE para tratar sobre los eventos que tiene la federación a corto mediano y largo plazo, especialmente del programa de actividades del 2014 que impacte en la difusión de los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe.

TIJUANA, Mexico, November 11, 2013. – The Mexican Olympic Committee (COM) and the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE) are working in unity and currently Mexico is experiencing a great moment in sports.
Carlos Padilla Becerra, president of COM, was accompanied by Jesus Mena Campos, owner of the CONADE at the official ceremony for change of governor of Baja California and welcomed the ratification of the new government of Saul Castro Verdugo at the sport leadership of Baja California and were happy with Mexico that will have its best performance at the Central American and Caribbean Games Veracruz 2014.
On 1 and 2 November, Baja California started a new government stage and on those dates was given the historic opportunity to the President of the Sports Writers Circle Tijuana (CCDT), Alberto Rico Santacruz and the international relations secretary of the Federation Mexican of Sports Writers (FEMECRODE), Raul Garcia, to interview the president of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), Ary Graça, the holder of the COM, Carlos Padilla Becerra and the director of the National Sports Commission (CONADE), Jesus Mena.
Padilla stressed the sport work that is performed in California and said that is about to materialize that the High Performance Center in Tijuana be the headquarters of the 2014 Pan American Olympic Festival.
