AIPS ha invitado a los medios de comunicación deportivos de todo el mundo a registrar y enviar sus mejores fotos, videos y artículos escritos a www.sportmediapearlawards.com antes de 07 de septiembre de 2015, que es la fecha límite.

Los Pearl Awards son una nueva plataforma única para el reconocimiento internacional de profesionales de los medios de prensa deportivos, que estimula el desarrollo de la excelencia en el periodismo deportivo.
Este premio -el primero de su tipo a nivel mundial-, gestionado por AIPS (Asociación Internacional de la Prensa Deportiva) y organizada por Abu Dhabi Media, busca convertirse en el tiempo en el galardón internacional más importante, para todas las plataformas del periodismo deportivo.
El galardón contemplará presentaciones de periodistas, reporteros de radio y televisión, fotógrafos y camarógrafos de medios de comunicación tradicionales y modernos, de trabajos publicados entre el 1 de septiembre de 2014 y el 31 de agosto de 2015.
Los premios incorporan nueve categorías diferentes que cubren la fotografía de deportes, escritura, audio, video y blog. El ganador de cada categoría recibirá un trofeo especial y un premio en efectivo de US$ 10.000. Los tres finalistas en cada categoría, elegidos por un panel de jueces independientes de elite, que incluye la leyenda del baloncesto Yao Ming, serán invitados a la ceremonia de premiación, en Abu Dhabi, en diciembre.
Se permite a cada solicitante dos presentaciones en todas las categorías, y estas pueden hacerse en cualquier idioma, destacánndose así el criterio internacional único del premio.

LAUSANNE/ABU DHABI, August 28, 2015 – The submission deadline for the Sport Media Pearl Awards is drawing ever closer, have you registered?
AIPS is calling on sport media colleagues from around the world to register and submit their best photos, videos and written articles on www.sportmediapearlawards.com before September 7th, 2015 the final deadline.
The Sport Media Pearl Awards are a unique new platform for the international recognition of sports media professionals and the development of sport media excellence among key industry practitioners and enthusiasts around the globe.
The prestigious awards, managed by AIPS (International Sports Press Association) and hosted by Abu Dhabi Media, seek to become the most significant international accolade across every platform for achievement in sport storytelling and are the first ever awards of their kind organized on an international level.
The Sport Media Pearl Awards remain open for submissions to journalists, radio and television reporters, photographers and videographers on traditional and new media platforms for the next two weeks, for work published or broadcast between September 1st, 2014 and August 31st, 2015.
The awards incorporate nine different categories covering sports photography, writing, audio, video and weblog, with the winner of each category receiving a special Pearl trophy a $10 000 cash prize. The three finalists in each category, chosen by an independent, elite judging panel that includes basketball legend Yao Ming, will be invited to the awards ceremony in Abu Dhabi in December.
Each applicant is allowed two submissions across all categories, and submissions in every language are encouraged, thus highlighting the unique international aspect of the awards.
