LAUSANA, octubre de 2013.- El histórico Congreso en el año del 90º aniversario de AIPS tiene fechas confirmadas. Será del 27 de abril al 1 de mayo de 2014, en Bakú, capital de Azerbaiyán.
Baku, ubicada a orillas del mar Caspio, es además la ciudad más importante y poblada del citado país asiático.
La ciudad cuenta con un histórico casco antiguo y una legendaria fortaleza situada en el mismo centro urbano. El Palacio de los Shirvanshahs y la Torre Maiden, fueron declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 2000.
El Congreso de AIPS se desarrollará en el céntrico JW Marrio Hotel Abseheron (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/gydjw-jw-marriott-hotel-absheron-baku).
El comité ejecutivo de AIPS desarrolló el año pasado una reunión en Bakí, donde además tuvo lugar una exitosa etapa de su Programa de Jóvenes Reporteros.

Dates set for 90th Anniversary Congress, Baku 2014
LAUSANNE, October, 2013 – The historic 90th Anniversary Congress will be held in the Azerbaijan capital city of Baku from April 27 – May 1, 2014.
Baku, located on the Caspian Sea is Azerbaijan’s largest city.
The capital features an historic old town precinct and fortress located right in the centre of the city. The inner city’s Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower were listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 2000.

AIPS conducted an Executive Committee meeting in Baku last year, as well as a very successful Young Reporters’ Programme during the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
