Asunción, 1 de diciembre de 2015.- Está en marcha la cuarta edición de los premios Abelardo Raidi (para periodistas) y AIPS América (para deportistas). Los términos de la convocatoria oficial hecha por nuestra nuestra entidad son los siguientes:
PREMIOS “ABELARDO RAIDI” Y “AIPS AMÉRICA”
Con enorme satisfacción, AIPS América comunica a las Asociaciones, Federaciones y Círculos de periodistas deportivos del continente, que se encuentran vigente la cuarta edición de los premios “Abelardo Raidi” y “AIPS América”, correspondientes al año 2014.
El premio “Abelardo Raidi” será otorgado a periodistas y/o organizaciones periodísticas en prensa escrita, radio y televisión, cuya trayectoria sea de servicio y aporte a la profesión en diferentes ámbitos. Cada Asociación Nacional, Círculo o Federación podrá proponer un periodista y/o organización o programa periodístico deportivo, con la debida justificación, hasta el miércoles 10 de diciembre próximo. El Comité Ejecutivo de AIPS América decidirá entre las propuestas recibidas hasta un máximo de cinco galardones, conforme el reglamento del premio, que lleva la denominación del fundador y primer presidente de FEPEDA (hoy AIPS América), don Abelardo Raidi (Venezuela).
El anuncio de los galardonados será hecho el martes 23 de diciembre.
El premio “AIPS América” distinguirá a: a).- Atleta Masculino, b).- Atleta Femenina, c).- Mejor Equipo. y d).- Mejor Centro de Prensa.
Podrán optar a los premios anuales “AIPS América” los atletas y equipos que compitan bajo la bandera los 42 países reconocidos por la Organización Deportiva Panamericana (ODEPA) y que practiquen los deportes reconocidos por el Comité Olímpico Internacional (COI), de verano o invierno, u otros de suficiente relieve internacional. Participarán en el proceso de selección de los premios anuales “AIPS América” los países que estén al día en las cotizaciones según registros de AIPS. Cada país propondrá un candidato de su país a cada premio, y luego tendrá derecho a emitir un voto en cada categoría.
De todas las nominaciones recibidas hasta el 10 de diciembre como máximo, una comisión designada por el comité ejecutivo de AIPS América seleccionará cinco candidatos a cada premio, que son los que serán sometidos a la votación final para conocer a los ganadores, que emergerán por mayoría simple.
El Comité Ejecutivo de AIPS América anunciará a los ganadores el martes 23 de diciembre de este año.

AWARDS «ABELARDO RAIDI» AND «AIPS AMERICA»
With great pleasure, AIPS America communicates Associations, Federations and sports journalists circles of the continent, which are in force the fourth edition of the awards «Abelardo Raidi» and «AIPS America», for the year 2014.
The «Abelardo Raidi» prize will be awarded to journalists and / or media organizations in print, radio and television, whose career is in service and contribution to the profession in different areas. Each National Association, Circle or Federation may propose a journalist and / or organization or sports news program, with adequate justification, until Wednesday 10 December. The Executive Committee AIPS America decide between the proposals received up to five awards, under the rules of the award, which carries the name of the founder and first president of FEPEDA (AIPS America today), Don Abelardo Raidi (Venezuela).
The announcement of the winners will be made on Tuesday December 23.
The «AIPS America» award will distinguish: a).- Male Athlete, b).- Female Athlete, c).- Best Team. and d).- Best Media Centre.
Shall be eligible for the annual awards «AIPS America» athletes and teams competing under the banner of 42 countries recognized by the Sports Organization Pan (ODEPA) and to practice sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), summer or winter, or other sufficient international standing. They will participate in the selection process of the annual awards «AIPS America» countries that are current prices as AIPS records. Each country will nominate a candidate for each award their country, and then be entitled to cast one vote in each category.
From all nominations received by December 10 at most, a committee appointed by the Executive Committee AIPS America will select five candidates for each award, which are to be submitted to the final vote to meet the winners who emerge majority simple.
The Executive Committee of AIPS America will announce the winners on Tuesday, December 23 this year.
