La Habana, Cuba, 6 de marzo de 2015.- La sesión continental de América durante el 78° Congreso de AIPS, cumplido del 1 al 4 de marzo en París, fue conducida por el vicepresidente 1° de AIPS América, Enrique Montesinos. La misma fue informativa y contó con la participación de delegados de Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Estados Unidos, Surinam, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Uruguay y Cuba.

Al delegado de Estados Unidos se le hizo llegar la invitación para los II Juegos AIPS América y para el Congreso, ambos en Manaus, en la semana del 12 al 18 de abril.
Se explicó a los delegados presentes, con respecto a la cancelación de los Congresos de Chile, Honduras (ambos en 2014) y Uruguay (2015) que los estatutos de AIPS América dicen que estos deben ser cada dos años (2013 fue en Paraguay y 2015 será en Manaus, Brasil) y que hay buena salud, pues el comité ejecutivo ha tenido sesiones en Asunción (2011), Managua (2013) y Manaus (2014).
El Congreso de París en resumen, dejó la presentación sobre el tema de la lucha por el libre derecho informativo en las transmisiones radiales en Europa que finalizó con el respaldo de todos los continentes y una moción de apoyo de AIPS.
Se aprobó el Congreso 2016 para Doha, en el segundo semestre probablemente.

American meeting during the 78th AIPS Congress in Paris

La Habana, Cuba, March 6, 2015.- The continental session of America during the 78th Congress of AIPS, held from 1 to 4 March in Paris, was led by the 1st vice president of AIPS America, Enrique Montesinos. The same was informative and was attended by delegates from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, USA, Suriname, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Uruguay and Cuba.
The US delegate was invited to the II Games AIPS America and the Congress, both to be held in Manaus, in the week from 12 to 18 April.
Was explained to the delegates present, with respect to the cancellation of the Congresses of Chile, Honduras (both in 2014) and Uruguay (2015), that the statutes of AIPS America say that they should be every two years (in 2013 was in Paraguay and 2015 will be in Manaus, Brazil) and that there are good health, because the executive committee has had sessions in Asunción (2011), Managua (2013) and Manaus (2014).
At the Congress of Paris, highlighted the presentation on the topic of the struggle for the free right informative in radio transmissions in Europe that ended with the support of all continents and a motion of support of AIPS.
