El Instituto de Prensa de la SIP (Sociedad Interamericana de Prensa) organiza el II Encuentro de Periodismo Deportivo de las Américas, en Lima (Crowne Plaza Hotel, en Miraflores), Perú, los días 17 y 18 se setiembre, para el cual los socios de AIPS tendrán un arancel muy especial.

El encuentro, que reunirá a representantes de la prensa deportiva latinoamericana, contará con la participación de destacados conferencistas de Estados Unidos y Europa, y servirá como espacio de intercambio de experiencias e información en cuanto a las últimas tendencias de la prensa deportiva en el mundo.

Entre los temas que serán abordados se encuentran la seguridad en estadios y arenas, novedades de la prensa deportiva en Europa, el periodismo de investigación en el área deportiva, prensa deportiva digital, entre otros.

Un panel debatirá el tan controvertido tema de la corrupción en el deporte.

El anfitrión del evento será el diario Depor, perteneciente al grupo El Comercio, de Lima, una de las más importantes publicaciones sobre deportes en Perú y Latinoamérica.

Los conferencistas invitados representan a algunas de las principales publicaciones deportivas de Latinoamérica y Europa, entre los que se encuentran:

Matthew Hayes, University of Florida, EEUU, abordará el tema de la seguridad en arenas, estadios y eventos deportivos, tomando en cuenta fenómenos pasados y recientes (terrorismo, violencia, accidentes masivos y protestas sociales).

Gianni Valenti, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Italia, se enfocará en los nuevos rasgos de la prensa deportiva en tiempos de internet y redes sociales.

Luiz Fernando Gomes, LANCE!, Brasil, compartirá una experiencia exitosa de la publicación y explicará cómo ésta se prepara para la cobertura de la Copa Mundial de Fútbol 2014.

Ezequiel Fernández, La Nación, Buenos Aires, Argentina, abordará la importancia de la investigación para mantener un nivel de excelencia en el producto periodístico.

Andrés del Brutto, El Gráfico, Chile, presentará la experiencia chilena de una publicación deportiva gratuita, distribuida por tres soportes: diario impreso, diario digital y revista mensual.

Francisco Cairo, P.21, Perú, explicará cómo es posible lograr una cobertura múltiple, resultado de un esfuerzo conjunto entre un diario serio y otro popular.

Daniel Titinger y Franklin Rodríguez, Depor, Perú, describirán las características del mercado juvenil en Perú y los esfuerzos por conquistar a un grupo social creciente e influyente.

El costo de la inscripción es de 700 dólares (hasta el 15 de agosto) y pasará a ser de 800 a partir de entonces. AIPS América ha hecho una negociación con la SIP, a través del coordinador de seminarios de la entidad, Emilio J. Sánchez, en virtud de la cual los socios de AIPS interesados en inscribirse para este evento, pagarán solo US$ 300 (menos de la mitad del costo original), hasta el 23 de agosto. Para ello se debe indicar el número de credencial AIPS y enviar escaneada la misma, junto a la solicitud de inscripción. Se trata de una gran oportunidad de capacitación a un costo muy ventajoso.

El Seminario será en idioma español, con traducción al inglés y al portugués.

TRAINING: Special prices for AIPS partners in the Sports Journalism Seminar in Lima

The Press Institute of the SIP (Inter American Press Association) organizes the Second Meeting of Sports Journalism of the Americas, in Lima (Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Miraflores), Peru, the days September 17 and 18, for which the partners of AIPS will have a very special tariff.

The event, that will bring together representatives of the Latin American sports media, will include the participation of prominent speakers of the U.S. and Europe, and will serve as a forum for the exchange of experiences and information with regard to the latest trends in sports media in the world.

Among the topics to be discussed are found the safety in stadiums and arenas, sports media news in Europe, investigative journalism in the sports area, digital sports media, among others.

A panel will discuss the controversial issue of corruption in sport.

The event host will be the Depor newspaper, belonging to the group El Comercio of Lima, one of the most important publications about sports in Peru, and Latin America.

The invited speakers represent to some of the major sports publications from Latin America and Europe, among which are:

Ezequiel Fernández, La Nacion, Buenos Aires, Argentina, will address the importance of the research to maintain a level of excellence in the journalistic product.

Andrés del Brutto, El Gráfico, Chile, will present the chilean experience of a free sports publication, distributed by three supports: printed newspaper, digital newspaper and monthly magazine.

Francisco Cairo, P.21, Peru, , will explain how it is possible to achieve a multiple coverage, the result of a joint effort between a serious newspaper and other popular.

Daniel Titinger and Franklin Rodriguez, Depor, Peru, will describe the characteristics of the young market in Peru, and the efforts to conquer to an influential and growing social group.

The cost of registration is USD 700 (until August 15) and will become in 800 from then on. AIPS America has made a negotiation with the SIP, through the seminars coordinator of the entity, Emilio J. Sánchez, by virtue of which AIPS partners interested in signing up for this event, will pay only USD 300 (less than half of the original cost), until 23 August.
