Tijuana, México, 11 de abril de 2015.- Álvaro Beltrán y Delia Aguilar Martínez, ambos de racquetbol, será premiados como Deportistas del Año en la Premiación Anual 2014 y XIV Entrega de Cuauhtémoc del Circulo de Cronistas Deportivos de Tijuana (CCDT), en la cena de gala que se realizará el 28 de abril en las elegantes instalaciones de la Cámara Nacional de Comercio (CANACO) en la exclusiva Zona Rio de esta ciudad fronteriza de 2.4 millones de habitantes.

El presidente del CCCDT, Alberto Rico Santacruz destacó que el racquetbolista mexicano Álvaro Beltrán, campeón en Mayagüez 2010, revalidó su título en los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe Veracruz 2014, y por su medalla de oro en el racquetbol de Olimpiada Nacional y bronce en el mundial en Cali, Colombia, Delia Aguilar Martínez será reconocida como deportista infantil del año
Dijo también que en diciembre de este año el CCDT cumplirá 55 años de vida y recordó que Juan Manuel Martínez, fundador del grupo en los próximos meses ofrecerá una serie de charlas sobre el nacimiento del grupo y como ha estado mejorando la infraestructura deportiva en los últimos 25 años en Baja California.
Mencionó que durante la Premiación Anual 2014 se entregará por primera vez la Medalla Juan Manuel Martínez, distinción que se otorga por trayectoria a periodistas deportivos de Tijuana y que en esta ocasión el homenajeado será René Mora, por más de 30 años en esta profesión.
Juan Manuel Martínez es un gran cronista deportivo, más de 60 años en la crónica deportiva. Hay muy pocos hombres que amen como él, con pasión, a Tijuana. Rene Mora y Eduardo Ortega, voz oficial del equipo de béisbol de Grandes Ligas Padres San Diego desde hace 30 años son dos de los varios alumnos que ha tenido el maestro fundador del CCDT.

Tijuana, Mexico, April 11, 2015.- Alvaro Beltrán y Delia Aguilar Martinez, both of racquetball, will be awarded as Athlete of the Year in the Annual Awards 2014 and XIV Delivery of Cuauhtémoc of the Circle of Sports Chroniclers of Tijuana (CCDT) in the gala dinner to be held on April 28 in the elegant facilities of the National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO) in the exclusive Rio Zone of this border city of 2.4 million inhabitants.
The President of the CCCDT, Alberto Santacruz Rico emphasized that the athlete of racquetbol mexican Alvaro Beltrán, champion in Mayagüez 2010, successfully defended his title at the Central American and Caribbean Games Veracruz 2014, and for his gold medal in the racquetball Olympic National and bronze in the world in Cali, Colombia; Delia Aguilar Martinez will be recognized as child athlete of the year.
He also said that in December this year, the CCDT will reach 55 years old and recalled that Juan Manuel Martinez, founder of the group in the coming months will offer a series of talks about the birth of the group and how the sports infrastructure has been improving in the last 25 years in Baja California.
