POR CONSTANZA MORA PEDRAZA – MIEMBRO AIPS
TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, La Federación Internacional de Sambo – FIAS- realizará del 12 al 14 de noviembre el Mundial de la disciplina, el cual se llevará a cabo en el Sports Complex de Tashkent, la capital de Uzbekistan, en las modalidades de Sport tanto para la rama femenina como en la masculina y Combate para la masculina. Este Mundial busca definir a los atletas más fuertes en el grupo de edad correspondiente, promover y desarrollar el SAMBO en todo el mundo y fortalecer las relaciones internacionales.
Este Campeonato Mundial que tiene como socio general a la compañía petrolera Rosneft y como socio oficial al VTB Bank, premiará por primera vez 7 categorías en cada una de las modalidades, la premiación asciende a los USD$231.000 y se distribuirá de la siguiente manera; los medallistas de oro recibirán USD$4.000, los segundos lugares ganarán USD$3.000 y quienes se ubiquen en el tercer lugar obtendrán USD$2.000.

Hombres: 58 kg, 64 kg, 71 kg, 79 kg, 88 kg, 98 kg, +98 kg.
Mujeres: 50 kg, 54 kg, 59 kg, 65 kg, 72 kg, 80 kg, +80 kg.
SAMBO Combate: 58 kg, 64 kg, 71 kg, 79 kg, 88 kg, 98 kg, +98 kg.
Cabe destacar que el torneo se realizará bajo todas las medidas de bioseguridad relacionadas con la pandemia del Covid-19, dentro de los requerimientos, todos los participantes deberán someterse a pruebas PCR regularmente y cumplir con todas las medidas sanitarias. Para ingresar a Uzbekistán y tomar parte en las competencias, cada miembro de cada equipo debe pasar la prueba PCR Covid-19 tomada no antes de 48 horas antes de la salida en sus respectivos países y tener un resultado negativo, la cual debe ser emitida por un laboratorio nacional de referencia del país, además todos los participantes deberán presentar otra prueba PCR un día antes del inicio de las competencias y así mismo todos deberán realizarse una prueba más un día antes de la salida de Uzbekistan de acuerdo a las reglas establecidas por el Ministerio de Salud Pública de la República de Uzbekistan.
Además, debido a las restricciones de COVID-19 y las normas de aislamiento, todos los participantes deben ser alojados solo en los hoteles designados ya que se aplica el “sistema de burbujas” para albergar los Campeonatos.
Otros Datos
Solo los árbitros de categoría internacional, que fueron designados por el Presidente de la Comisión Técnica de FIAS, podrán oficiar la competencia
El Comité Organizador garantiza proporcionar a todos los participantes los Primeros Auxilios, cuando sea necesario.
Las pruebas de dopaje serán realizadas por la organización antidopaje oficial o por el proveedor de recolección de muestras reconocido y aprobado por la AMA. La selección de atletas será acorde a las Reglas FIAS de Anti-Dopaje 2021 las cuales se basan en el Código de Anti-Dopaje de la WADA 2021.
El registro para participar se deberá hacer únicamente a través del sistema electrónico de FIAS y la Asociación de Sambo de Uzbekistan proporcionará ayuda con el proceso de visado solo para aquellas delegaciones que apliquen a través de la Base de Datos de FIAS y que completen el formulario de Visa Especial en la página web de FIAS.
The International Sambo Federation – FIAS- will organize the World Sambo Championship from 12-14 November, which will be held at the Sports Complex of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, in Sport for both Women’s and Men’s and Combat for Men’s. This World Cup seeks to define the strongest athletes in the corresponding age group, promote and develop SAMBO throughout the world and strengthen international relations.
This World Championship, whose general partner is the Rosneft Oil Company and VTB Bank as an official partner, will award for the first time 7 categories in each of the categories, the prizes will be of about USD $231,000 and will be distributed as follows; gold medalists will receive USD $4,000, runners-up will earn USD $3,000, and third-place finishers will earn USD $2,000.

It should be noted that the tournament will be held under all biosecurity measures related to the Covid-19 pandemic, within the requirements, all participants must undergo to regularly PCR tests and comply with all sanitary measures. To enter Uzbekistan and take part in the competitions, each member of each team must pass the PCR Covid-19 test taken no earlier than 48 hours before departure in their respective countries and have a negative result, which must be issued by a National reference laboratory of the country, in addition all participants must present another PCR test one day before the start of the competitions and likewise all, must take one more test one day before leaving Uzbekistan according to the rules established by the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, due to COVID-19 restrictions and isolation regulations, all participants must be accommodated only in designated hotels as the “bubble system” is applied to host the Championships.
Other Facts
Only international category referees, who were appointed by the President of the FIAS Technical Commission, may officiate the competition.
The Organizing Committee guarantees to provide all participants with First Aid, when necessary.
Doping tests will be conducted by the official Anti-Doping organization or by the recognized sample collection provider approved by WADA. The selection of athletes will be in accordance with the FIAS Anti-Doping Rules 2021 which are based on the WADA 2021 Anti-Doping Code.
Registration to participate must be done only through the FIAS electronic system, and the Sambo Association of Uzbekistan will provide assistance with the visa process only for those delegations that apply through the FIAS Database and complete the form of Special Visa on the FIAS website.
