CARACAS, Venezuela 28 de mayo 2021.- La campeona mundial posee seis saltos sobre los 15 metros desde que inició su temporada outdoor 2021 el 8 de mayo.
Este viernes Yulimar Rojas lideró el shootout del salto triple en la parada de la Diamond League Doha 2021. La venezolana concretó un salto de 15.11m que la hizo celebrar en el estadio Kalifa de Catar.
Rojas disputó el último salto de la competencia ante las jamaiquinas Kimberly Williams (14.45m) y Shanieka Ricketts (foul).
La venezolana inició su tercer encuentro de la temporada outdoor con su mejor salto del día (15.15m) que la permitió quedarse con el récord de competencia que le pertenecía a la colombiana Catherine Ibargüen desde 2016.
Rojas agregó tres foul en su segunda, tercera y quinta oportunidad. En la cuarta, acortó la distancia con 14.44m.
Ricketts y Williams lograron su pase a la final con 14.98m y 14.69m respectivamente.
«Seguimos trabajando y mejorando en el camino. Sé que puedo dar mucho más, no salieron las cosas como quería, pero vamos a continuar y a corregir lo que haga falta. Muchas gracias a todos por el apoyo siempre y por hacerme sentir acompañada en cada salto», expresó Yulimar.
La campeona mundial y dueña del récord del mundo indoor (15.43m) posee seis saltos sobre los 15 metros desde que inició su temporada 2021 el 8 de mayo: (15.14m) y (15.01m) en Ibiza, (15,43m) y (15.31m) en Andújar, (15.15m) y (15.11m) en Doha.
Su próximo encuentro será el 12 de junio en la final del Campeonato de Clubes de España.

CARACAS, Venezuela May 28, 2021.- The World Champion has six jumps over 15 meters since she began her 2021 outdoor season on May 8.
This Friday, Yulimar Rojas led the Triple Jump shootout at the Doha 2021 Diamond League meeting. The Venezuelan made a 15.11m jump that made her celebrate at the Kalifa Stadium in Qatar.

Ricketts and Williams made their way to the final with 14.98m and 14.69m respectively.
