ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay, 8 de febrero de 2021.- Fueron dadas a conocer las “listas largas” de la tercera edición de los AIPS Sport Media Awards, pertenecientes al año 2020, las cuales están integradas por los trabajos que sortearon el primer filtro del premio más importante y único en su estilo en el mundo, reservado para trabajadores de la prensa deportiva, incluyendo fotógrafos.
La buena noticia para el continente americano es que existen presentaciones originadas en países de la región que se encuentran seleccionados en todas las categorías habilitadas, entre las cuales están las destinadas a periodistas jóvenes.
La tercera edición de los AIPS Sport Media Awards tuvo un récord de 1.871 postulaciones (422 de ellas provenientes de América), de 129 países (25), en 34 idiomas diferentes, con los miembros del Comité Ejecutivo y los jurados de los premios, entusiasmados con su increíble calidad.
Cinco etapas de votación: Los AIPS Sport Media Awards se toman muy en serio el proceso de evaluación. Una vez revisadas todas las postulaciones por el personal de AIPS, la primera etapa de votación incluye los trabajos mejor calificados por nuestro panel de especialistas y mentores, miembros del Comité Ejecutivo y miembros del jurado, lo que resulta en una primera lista de clasificados (Long List).
La segunda etapa de votación, que es realizada exclusivamente por los miembros del Comité Ejecutivo (que representan 24 naciones), reducirá los trabajos seleccionados a una lista corta de postulados.
La tercera y cuarta etapas de votación estarán a cargo del Jurado (12 respetados miembros de la industria de los medios deportivos que representan a los cinco continentes), quienes primero seleccionan los 10 mejores y luego los 3 finalistas.
Finalmente, un día antes de la ceremonia (el próximo mes de abril, en fecga a confirmar), se lleva a cabo la votación final y los resultados permanecen en secreto hasta su anuncio.
