LAUSANA, 15 de enero de 2020.- Después de un proceso intrigante que comenzó con la aceptación de la postulación de trabajos el 16 de abril de 2019, la segunda edición de los AIPS Sport Media Awards ha sido inmensa en calidad, impacto y universalidad, y hoy, AIPS está orgulloso y honrado de anunciar a los 3 finalistas en cada una de las categorías de los Premios.

AIPS Awards 2019 recibió una participación récord de 1746 postulaciones de 125 países de todo el mundo, un 37% más que en la edición de apertura. Al presentar su trabajo para las 11 categorías, incluido la de Reporteros Jóvenes, colegas de todo el mundo entablaron un diálogo de excelencia deportiva. Dicho diálogo es crucial para resaltar la importancia de los medios deportivos y la necesidad de invertir en su cultura e independencia.
Los doce miembros del jurado, más el presidente, se reunirán en Budapest el 2 de febrero para determinar los ganadores. Cada premio elegible consiste en un trofeo original y un premio en efectivo de USD $8,000 para el ganador; el segundo puesto recibirá USD $3,000 y el tercero USD $2,000.
Los ganadores de las categorías Reportero Joven (Menores de 30 años9 (Fotografía, Escritura y Radiodifusión) serán revelados en la noche de la ceremonia de premiación, y recibirán una beca para un importante evento deportivo internacional.
EL VIAJE
Desde las 1746 postulaciones hasta los tres últimos en cada categoría, el viaje incluyó horas de dedicación y deliberación de los 24 miembros del Comité Ejecutivo de AIPS y de los 12 miembros del jurado internacional de AIPS Sport Media Awards. Las 160 asociaciones miembros de AIPS fueron consultadas por su experiencia y conocimiento de los idiomas locales y los paisajes mediáticos como primer paso. Cada presentación de los Premios AIPS fue juzgada por un hablante nativo en el camino a la siguiente fase.
LA CEREMONIA
La segunda edición de los AIPS Sport Media Awards llegará a un clímax muy esperado el 3 de febrero en el Hotel Corinthia en Budapest, Hungría, y los 3 primeros finalistas, que representan el apogeo de la narración deportiva en todas sus formas, serán Invitado a asistir a la entrega de premios.

Important results of the sports journalist of the American Continent in the AIPS SPORT MEDIA AWARDS
LAUSANNE, January 15, 2020.- Following
an intriguing process that began with accepting submissions on April 16, 2019,
the second edition of the AIPS Sport Media Awards has been immense in quality,
impact and universality, and today, AIPS is proud and honored to announce the
Top 3 finalists in each of the Awards’ main categories.
AIPS Awards 2019 received a record participation of 1746 submissions from 125
countries around the globe, 37% more than in the opening edition. In submitting
their work for consideration for the 11 categories, including Young Reporter
Under 30, colleagues from across the globe engaged in a dialogue of sporting
excellence. Such dialogue is crucial in highlighting the importance of sport
media and the need to invest in its culture and independence.
The twelve members of the jury, plus the president, will meet in Budapest on February 2 to determine the winners. Each eligible award consists of an original trophy and prize money of USD 8,000 for the winner; second placed will receive USD 3,000 and third placed USD 2,000.
Winners of the Young Reporter U30 categories (Photography, Writing and Broadcasting) will be revealed on the night of the awards ceremony, and will receive a scholarship to a major international sports event.
THE JOURNEY
From 1746 submissions to the final three in each category, the journey included hours of dedication and deliberation from the 24-member AIPS Executive Committee and the international 12-member AIPS Sport Media Awards jury. The 160 member associations of AIPS were called on for their expertise and knowledge of local languages and media landscapes as a first step. Every submission of the AIPS Awards was judged by a native speaker on the way to the next phase.
THE CEREMONY
The second edition of the AIPS Sport Media Awards will come to a highly anticipated climax on February 3 at the Corinthia Hotel in Budapest, Hungary, and the Top 3 finalists, which represent the height of sports storytelling in all its forms, will be invited to attend the awards ceremony.
