Lausana, Suiza, 30 de noviembre de 2016.- November 30, 2016.- AIPS dio a conocer este miércoles un mensaje oficial de condolencias a raíz de la catástrofe aérea del Chapecoense de Brasil, ocurrida en la medianoche del lunes en Medellín. Espresa cuanto sigue:
“Queridos Colegas. Un nuevo desastre aéreo ha enlutado al mundo del deporte y en este caso particular, al fútbol de Sudamérica.
“Jugadores, Dirigentes, Entrenadores y también 21 periodistas deportivos han dejado su vida en la tragedia. Muchos de los colegas fallecidos, miembros de la Asociación Brasileña de Cronistas Esportivos (ABRACE) la organización de Brasil reconocida por nuestra Asociación.
“Ante tan luctuoso acontecimiento, la Asociación Internacional de la Prensa Deportiva (AIPS), desea expresar su más profundo sentimiento de pesar por tan fatídico accidente de aviación que se suma a una lista de tragedias que tanto dolor han causado en el deporte del fútbol.
“A todas las familias, a las Asociaciones de periodistas, al mundo del deporte y el fútbol; nuestro más sentido pésame así como también a la ABRACE y AIPS América”.

AIPS send condolences message for ABRACE and AIPS America
LAUSANNE, Switzerland, November 30, 2016.- AIPS released Wednesday an official message of condolences following the air disaster of the Chapecoense of Brazil, which occurred at midnight Monday in Medellín. Explain this:
“Dear Colleagues,
A new air disaster has tragically impacted the world of sport, and in particular, South American football.
“Players, directors, coaches and 21 sports journalists have lost their lives in the tragedy. Many of the deceased colleagues are members of the Brazilian Association of Sport Writers (ABRACE), recognized by AIPS as a member national association.
“In the face of such a mournful event, the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) wishes to express its deepest pain and sorrow for this fateful aviation accident that has added to a list of tragedies that have caused so much pain in the sport of football.
“To all families, to the associations of journalists, to the world of sport and to football, to ABRACE and to AIPS America the AIPS family sends its deepest condolences”.
